Critical

Terrible Care

I had to move my loved one out of Ativo. Addressed concerns several times with management and nothing happened. I reported them to state health department for lack of care. Mother was not getting medication given properly and place has inappropriate staffing. I asked caregivers they say they are over worked and management does nothing to help.

Ativo is a great place, dad has been there for almost 2 years now, the entire staff is wonderful and they take great care of him. I've had zero complaints in the year and a half my Dad has been there.

Friendly+ Caring!

I'm Very Happy with All the Ladies and Gentle- men that works for Ativo!!! I tell my Friends + Family that getting a hold of A Place for Mom, Ativo + Hospice of Yuma have been my Angels for the last 5 months. I wish we Had More Kind + Helpful for Alzheimer + All Dementia People!!! We would recommend this community to other families!!!

Has potential but...

My mom has been living at Yuma Ativo for almost 2 years. It has gone downhill in that time. The front-facing employees that interact with the residents are generally quite lovely. Although the place does feel understaffed .The facility looks beautiful. Trying to get a hold of anybody that is in charge is pretty much a joke unless you mean to be a new resident. There's rarely anybody behind the front desk. And the food has gotten just terrible. As an example, when I went to eat with my mom the other day they had sca…
