I'd rate everything at Atria a 5, except for cost. They've had nearly 12% increases each year for the last 2 years. That's unsustainable over the long haul. All other services are excellent: nursing staff, other staff, management, food, activities. Room sizes are adequate. It's a small facility and easy to navigate. My sister is very happy with her choice. Residents seem sociable and pleasant.

The activities were great, the food was good and organized for memory care residents. Very clean and well taken care of. The room was shared and separated by a bathroom and worked well very little time was spent in the rooms. The staff was very nice and seemed to care for residents they were always kind My mom was at the point where she was entering the agitation stage and the staff did not know how to manage well and redirect . More men than the other facilities, very friendly, clean, everyone have to eat in dining room ( no hiding in your room). Atria has a Memory Unit , so he would not have to be moved to a different location and company. Mail delivered to room, price depends on level of care needed. Apartment was spacious with 2 rooms separated by a bathroom, no step into shower stall. We picked Atria Park of Glen Ellyn and have been very pleased. The dining room staff are unbelievable! Any problems are addressed immediately!
