PositiveWe visited Avista in the spring of 2024, and immediately got onto their waitlist. My relative is super mobile and has dementia, so she needs a unique memory care place to live. Avista in Albuquerque has two buildings separated by a very big, unlocked courtyard. Residents are free to walk in this courtyard and between buildings all day long, by themselves. We saw two residents enjoying the nice gardens by themselves, so we know they are free to roam. There were two staff members who stood out. They have both worked…

PositiveMy mother has resided at Avista Senior Living Albuquerque for 11 years now. I am very happy with the facility and even more so the staff. My mother is very well taken care of and I have zero worries about her care or needs at Avista. PositiveAfter attempting to care for Mom at home , we found out she needed 24/7 care which I could not provide. Avista Senior Living facility was selected after reviewing other facilities. The professional help and care that AVISTA provided was exceptional. All staff treated Mom with the utmost kindness and was attentive to her needs. I would definitely recommend AVISTA for a loved ones personal needs.

PositiveWe toured with Avista Albuquerque and it was wonderful in all areas. We just felt at the time most of the residents were much more advanced in their dementia than my Aunt was and therefore it was not going to be a good fit.
