I like that the residents go on outings, and that staff take and share photos of the outings. Long term staff know her name and her routine. They can work on staff retention; I see new faces often, usually on the weekends. I know this isn't anything new, especially in today's economic situation, but hopefully things will turn around.

Azura Assisted Living review

While no place is perfect, the people were very nice, they seemed to have genuine interest in helping my mom and showed compassion. While the main areas were clean, I wasn't impressed with the level of cleanliness of my mom's room, especially her bathroom. The staff was really nice and caring. I wasn't impressed with the food although my mom never complained about it. I feel Azura was a good fit for my mom and I believe she was happy living there. a nice community with room for improvement

Some staff are friendly and acknowledge visitors. Others, act like visitors don't exist. Makes you wonder how they treat the residents. Our mom transferred from another Azura location, as Brookfield did not have an opening when we needed it. I understand that each facility is it's own entity, but mom's information didn't get shared. Not until we noticed certain things did it become apparent that information was not shared, but that no one from Brookfield asked.. Mom likes the food. I've noticed that mom has "attend…

Overall Pleased

[name removed], the nurse is always very responsive to our questions. As far as food goes, they need to serve it warm to begin with. By the time it makes its way to Wirth House it's warm at best and often cold. Chicken quesadillas should probably contain more than just chicken...perhaps a little cheese and some salsa on the side??

All the Comforts of Home

My mom moved in when they first opened. We chose Brookfield Azura for it's home feel, accessible layout and close proximity to family. At times there have been normal challenges keeping it staffed, but my mom loves knowing the other residents (and families) and especially enjoying a bench on the front porch. It's truly a home!

Overall quite satisfied with care, except our loved one's room could be cleaned better.
