Bellwood Assisted Living has been in service since 2018, providing excellent assisted living to seniors in the area. As a mid-size group home, the community offers residents top-notch care from a dedicated team of professionals. The facility was a new build in 2018, which means it’s outfitted with modern amenities and is held to a high standard of cleanliness. Residents enjoy a slew of activities on-site. Art classes, movies, and daily devotions are particularly popular. But the tight-knit community often comes to the residents themselves, whether it’s to perform a choir concert or show off their antique cars. The staff at Bellwood is fantastic!!! They are very helpful & and they make you feel like you're at home!!! We have 3 meals a day served in the cafeteria. The food is usually pretty good!!! They have alternative food choices if you don't want what they are having!!! Some rooms are shared (kinda like in rehab) & some rooms are a single person. My room is small....but perfect for me!!! I will update give a 4 A place for mom was wonderful and so helpful. Bellwood was nice, has several times when my moms room a board was raised to up to [fee removed] on top of the choices benefit . Staffing was a huge issue. Always running with only one tech per shift, regularly having that tech pass meds- against the law, often the 1 tech was the only staff member in premises other than the cook. PositiveMy Dad felt at home, not left behind in one...
The community is small and inviting- cozy. Staff and residents alike are welcoming and function like family. Administration is kind and accommodating. Though our time there was brief, my dad was well cared for while there, and loved being in an environment and a community that felt more like being at home than being in a nursing home.

Bellwood is a nice assisted living facility. Very clean and they cared so much for my mom as it was a life changing experience for her and we were both emotional. I would recommend this facility to family and friends. I want to especially thank the fabulous ladies at a place for mom who helped us get her in so quickly!
