Overall there are staff members that are absolute stars who clearly care about the residents. The worker bees will always be. The unsung heroes with the most impact. That said, it is clear more education for the staff is needed. Bickford is taking steps to provide dementia training and I appreciate that proactive attitude very much. I don't think the Activities director is capable of recognizing her own deficiency in that department. She has repeatedly used language and displayed behaviors that are contraindicati…

The apartment is adequate but there is constant noise. Facility is clean. Staff - they don't seem to have dementia training which is disappointing. My Dad's biggest complaint is feeling treated like a child.
