★★★★★
PositiveVery nice facility, everyone very nice and helpful. Residents are friendly and willing to help show the place off. Show priding in their apartments.
★★★★★
PositiveThe physical building and furnishings and decorations are absolutely beautiful. The food is very good. The nursing staff is wonderful and keeps in touch with the family as things go along. The caregivers are very attentive and very nice. Just wish the response time on pushing the button for help was a little bit shorter but other than that it's been a great and wonderful experience so far.

PositiveI had to ask staff to encourage my dad to participate in activities during the initial month he was there so he had a bumpy first few weeks. Once settled in he is doing well and we are overall satisfied with staff. Cleanliness is a 5! Dining is almost a 5. We joined my dad for a meal there and the food was very good. The only issue is when they get my dads meal order he forgets that the two specials are not the only options. Need to encourage staff to remind him that he can have one of the everyday meals if he does…

PositiveMy first impression of Brandywine was that it felt more like a high end hotel than a senior care facility. A very grand entry with a beautiful staircase, library, restaurant and sitting rooms. There are activities every day and weekly live music. The staff was very friendly and helpful and the residents appeared to be happy as well. We only toured one apartment which was the smallest studio and it was small, but there are larger units, some have bedrooms. When our senior family member is ready we will choose Brandy…

CriticalIt was okay. We had to hire private staff to be sure my friend got the real care she needed. It was probably one of the better ones out there though. The staff was always kind. Their response time varied. At night there was times when there was no response for hours. That's why we hired our own folks. I did bring all of this to a new director of nursing so hopefully it improved since my friend passed. The food was delivered with care.
