CriticalMy dads assisted living contract was canceled and I had to fight 3 months to get his refund back. I would not recommend them. They really gave me a run around And I believe they would have nickeled and dimed my father for every little service

CriticalMy mother passed at Brookdale only after residing there after 12 days. So I cannot give an unbiased review. Paying the initial Community-fee and the 7-day "after death" ad-on fee I would not have minded, but in those 12 days my Mom never had her dentures out or cleaned (her new box of Polident tablets and denture cream were NEVER opened, and only one shower & shampoo--I stopped in daily to visit her). I found her semi-private room disheveled the 3rd day she resided there...a dirty Depends laying atop her unlined …
