Brookdale Harrisonburg

The staff was very nice. Leah was very informative and helped walk me through how to get dad into the facility. I like that its a small facility so dad wouldn't get lost in the shuffle.

Tour was ok. Overall feel of facility was not positive. May be influenced by visiting someone years ago under different circumstances management.

Our father in law's first Assisted Living Experience

The Director [name removed] worked side by side with me on getting my father in law in on Christmas Eve. The staff worked hard getting him set up, not easy having them work so hard on Christmas Eve. Can't comment on activities yet, he didn't have portable oxygen set up until last week. The staff bought all 3 meals each day to help him Really nice place.

I took a tour two weeks ago and wanted my wife to see Brookdale and see the model room. She was as impressed as I was on my first visit. Everyone is so nice and it’s always so clean. We came without an appointment on a Saturday and was greeted by the activity director who I believe was [name removed] who gave us a tour while he was working in the activity room. The food smelled very tasty. We hope it all works out for my wife’s Dad. Looks like a great place that feels like home.

My first experience

Was impressed with Brookdale from the start everyone was very friendly/helpful answered all questions and some I didn’t think to ask when I would call about anything got answered then or within 24hours .kept me informed about[name removed] condition seems to be really good with helping him.

Brookdale Harrisonburg

It was a good choice for me, so far I have nothing to complain about. The food is very good ,they do my laundry, clean my room and anything I ask. The staff is very friendly and very helpful.
