Plus, the community features secured entrances and exits, an enclosed courtyard, an emergency alert system, and the staff is available 24 hours a day, seven days a week to be alerted to an emergency. In addition to the heightened security measures, many residents find additional relief thanks to the dedicated team providing assistance with meal preparation, transportation, housekeeping, laundry, home maintenance, and so much more. Here, all of the tedious chores, as well as residents' personal care and requests are managed by Brookdale's team in a timely manner. To help residents thrive fully, the community offers two key memory care programs. The Clare Bridge program was established more than 30 years ago and provides residents with opportunities to engage in six daily activities. Whether it’s dancing, walking, or brain fitness classes, there's a structured schedule and engaging activities for the residents to look forward to. The Solace program is similar, however, it is designed to support residents in the late stages of dementia. It provides additional time for grooming, as well as music and aromatherapy. To help alleviate confusion throughout the day, residents’ mealtimes are also managed and kept routine. Residents are able to sit together at the same time each day, and nutritious, dementia-friendly meals are served. If needed, dining assistance is also available. As an added convenience, the community offers residents access to the concierge service, beauty/barber shop, and postal services, which can all be used on-site. Preventative health care services, such as annual wellness visits, immunizations, and health screenings are also provided to help avoid trips to doctors’ offices, or unnecessary emergency room visits and hospital stays. Community Services and Amenities On any given day, the residents’ may partake in gardening, bean-bag toss, karaoke, painting, or just sipping coffee and mingling with their neighbors. The community also offers an arts and crafts studio, a game room, tranquil whirlpool, and a cozy fireside living room, which can be enjoyed independently, as well. Another exceptional perk available here is the Personal Solutions delivery program. If your loved one needs assistance obtaining a few personal items, such as shampoo, hand sanitizer, body wash, or other necessities, simply send an email to Brookdale’s trusted team and they will deliver the items right to their front door. Best of all, there's no extra charge for the delivery. Living Arrangements The cozy private apartments here include plenty of natural window light and storage space. Each space is designed to make residents feel comfortable, at ease, and at home. On the outside of each apartment, you will find a unique shadow box. These boxes allow residents to share important or fun details about themselves so the staff can get to know them better.
