Horrible Care

As a physician, I was appalled with the care that my mother received. She was left for several hours while waiting for assistance to go to the restroom, placed in the shower with her clothes on, fell and hit her head in the middle of the night, left in the restroom and she ended up on the floor, handled aggressively, etc.

Worked well for respite care

Worked for our need for short-term respite care (one month)- very accommodating of our short time frame. Staff & residents were kind. Park-like setting & large windows very soothing altho the building was older so had its challenges. For long term we needed a larger facility with more activity & food choices. Best part: they had an accessible soda machine for my occasional need for caffeine! Hours open good - think the front desk was "manned" until a reasonable 9:00PM. Fun, Adventures, Friendship and Worship

Parkwood has many amenities as the title suggests. Residents enjoy live music, crafts, ice cream social, and transportation to doctors within a short distance. Parkwood has many great things which includes great staff.

Renter- Happy at Parkwood

Have been with Parkwood Retirement com, for 6 wonderful years. The staff here do their very best to service all the vest of their abilities. Plan to reside here till it's time for me to move foe my last time!
