CriticalRegulations being ignored
Do not move your loved one into the Assisted living side, the ED does not care about regulations and is not being open to staff about them. Ed having staff working in unsafe conditions for them as well as the resident.

The one-bedroom apartment is adequate. Remember to downsize your belongings and be prepared to remove some items from your personal inventory. The staff is well motivated and strives for excellence. The kitchen staff identified my special dietary requirements before I had my first meal. The community has a small therapy pool. It was built around 1990, but the amenities are up to date. It requires a lot of walking to get around, so I use my walker. There are lots of side activities available. Like any social gro…

I like the place a lot but they have been having some recent issues. There are no rides to appointments currently because they wrecked the van. Events have been cancelled etc. I also know my MIL is still hesitant to get involved so I am hopeful. I would still recommend it to others. Staff is great. Executive director knows everyone by name and they all work hard to make people feel welcome. I feel safe with her there

It was an incredibly easy transition for my mom and she is so happy there. She's meeting people, eating well and the staff has been welcoming and responsive. Apartment is perfect size for her needs. The indoor and outdoor spaces are welcoming and well-maintained. She loves all the choices of amenities and that she doesn't feel pressured to participate when she doesn't want to.
