Waldrop Residences is a lovely senior living community located in the picturesque and quaint Cartersville, Georgia. Cartersville is a township located against the Allatoona Dam and right next to the so-formed Lake Allatoona. The Etowah River also borders the town. As such, there are numerous recreational opportunities including hiking, water activities, golfing, geocaching, and more. Cartersville also has lovely stores to shop and restaurants to dine in. Waldrop Residences is situated in a convenient location to access all such activities. We also have our own outdoor commmon areas to enjoy the beauty of the area. The staff of Waldrop Residences are highly-trained and dedicated to providing the best care possible to all of our residents. We provide comprehensive memory care problems for residents who are living with dementia or Alzheimer's. Our staff are awake and ready to provide assistance 24 hours a day without fail. As such, we can provide the precise level of care that each individual resident requires while allowing them to maintain as much freedom and independence as possible. Amenities are also a vital part of the Waldrop Residences senior living community experience. Some of the amenities we provide are: Indoor and outdoor common areas Beautician services on-site Devotional service available both on- and off-site On-site activities Waldrop Residences is a senior living community that is immediately welcoming and has a homey, comfortable feel to it. Residents can rely on our staff to provide them with all of the assistance they need or desire while allowing those residents to maintain their freedom and independence.

From the first meeting, I was impressed with [name removed]. Very professional, and knowledgeable. The staff was very kind and watching interactions with residents, it was obvious they cared. The facility has a very home-like feel to it. A front porch with rockers! The rooms and residents appeared clean. Although it didn't work out for my husband, unfortunately he joined the 60% of dementia patients who wander, had that not happened, I'm sure he would have been well cared for there.

Cleanliness could be better. My sister is in the older part and the carpet needs replacing, the ac unit needs a thorough cleaning to eliminate any mold and dust issues , and a plastic window with tape holding it together is scheduled for replacement. .... I hope. The other factors are great. My sister is very happy. The food, activities, health care and staff seem to be done with great patience and with great kindness and professionalism.

The friendliness gets a 6, they are over the top! The caregivers are excellent! The administrative staff are also excellent! When it comes to the meals, there is a lot of processed foods. I haven't seen any activities - our loved one doesn't remember any. The value is great! You can always find something that costs more, but these caregivers/angels are amazing!
