An Amiable Home

The atmosphere is very relaxed and almost all of the residents are friendly and amiable. The backyard area is very nice and the food and the dining experience are very good. A notable exception is that they provide brunch at 11, but no breakfast, only two meals a day.

Review for Campus Commons Senior Living

Campus Commons is a very nice place. Though older, it is right on the American River with views from the 3rd floor. They have a lot of activities and weekly outings. Friday is happy hour with live music and wine. It is centrally located near the University and lots of restaurants and amenities. The chef puts on incredible holiday events. The people are very nice and friendly. I also believe it is a very reasonably priced.

Excellent place for the independent senior

What we like the most about the community is their unflagging friendliness of everyone. Delicious food and varied menu. To tell you the truth, it really wasn't the right place for my mother. The reason is that it's better for seniors who are able to live independently and who don't have a tendency to get confused. My mom's dementia was unfortunately triggered, and she needed to go back to a more familiar home situation with her husband. But that wasn't really the fault of campus comments per se.

Mom's transition to independent living

Overall rating based on the food. There is also a smell in the unit that is not very pleasant. Other than that, I think she is doing Ok. It has been hard for her transferring from a home to a small apartment, but I think she is adjusting. The facility is very nice although a bit older. The location is lovely and central to shopping.

A New Perspective

My mother chose this place after looking at 10 other places. She just moved in a few days ago. It has wonderful gardens and paths to walk on. There’s a grocery store and a CVS right across the street. Groceries can be delivered. But you don’t need to buy groceries too much because meals are provided. They just hired a new chef and I am impressed with the food. It was really good. The people living here Are wonderful! They look out for each other and I really like that. They have a lot of activities to do and they e
