The facility was very bright and welcoming. It did not appear as a hotel as other facilities did. You are very friendly and inviting (most facilities were), and so were your residents, who appeared slightly younger and more vivacious than other facilities. I have nothing against that except that’s what I was looking for. Question: if I show up late for dinner or lunch (say, 15 minutes) do I get denied service? And if I fall, does someone there help? At first I was very impressed but with the turnover in staff they seem a bit disorganized. I would recommend the facility to people who can be independent, and it is a nice facility, I feel they sell it one way but then it is changed a bit, but overall it is a good value in this area

Capital Ridge occupies the high, but not ultra-wealthy, end of their commercial niche. It's generally a well-run operation, marred by frequent staff turnover. Meal quality is good enough most of the time, occasionally breaking out into excellent. Despicable frozen pizza is occasionally served. Accommodations for individual preferences are cheerfully made. Capital Ridge Gracious Retirement Living review

Quality of care -being the it is independent living there is no care or communication with the families. Capitol Ridge was just hard on my loved one. I had asked them several times if they could introduce him to another guy with a bird watching fascination and it just never happened. They were not as friendly once he moved in.

The meals are very good. The move in process was great! It is an independent living facility, so independence is expected.
