CriticalThe room size was small but okay, but the bathroom was too small for a walker. The activities were wonderful, and the food was pretty good. We rarely had anyone offer to clean dads room, but the rest of the facilities was mostly clean. Some of the staff were wonderful, but several were terrible and had little if any training. They claim to be equipped for dementia patients, but they are not. The only reason my dad stayed as long as he did is because we hired private caregivers to sit with him during the day.

PositiveSometimes difficult to get to the right staff member. Laundry return can be an issue. Mother in law attends most of the activities. She seems happy there.

PositiveI love the activities director. She is great at having fun things for the residents to do and getting them involved. She definitely goes above and beyond and you can tell she loves what she does. I love their new app. I can login and message the facility and someone will message me back. CriticalLack of staffing, stinks, my brother in law suffers in his feces because they do not come for hours. Last week, dinner was chili, he got a bowl of sauce with carrots, no beans or meat. Hot dogs, a bun with sauce, no dog. Food comes cold, and late. Sits in his feces waiting for assistance. Rooms are only cleaned once every 2 or 3 weeks. All his clothes sent to laundry, never come back. This is $[fee removed]. Per month. Not acceptable, families are afraid to report...

PositiveI recently visited Cedar Grove in hopes of finding the perfect place for a family member. The staff made sure that all my questions were thoroughly answered. The nurses and aides value each and every client in the facility and always strive to provide the best care possible. I am very excited to say that I have found the perfect place for my family member!

PositiveI have been to cedar grove numerous times and always have noticed the great staff effort, they are very friendly along with the nurses and all they do! The facility is clean, comfortable, and well maintained. The kindness and patience for every resident is what stands out the most to me. Communications with families is excellent, and we always feel informed and reassured about our loved one’s care. I would highly recommend this nursing home to anyone looking for quality care and a place that truly feels like home…
