I love it here! The building offers so many great amenities, including free laundry, a small gym, an on-site restaurant, snack shop, ATM, and convenient parking. The building is clean, modern, and well-maintained, and the studio apartments are surprisingly spacious. It’s a very peaceful place to live, with friendly staff and welcoming residents. I have had a wonderful experience living here. The staff is always helpful and friendly, and the residents are warm and welcoming. I enjoy participating in the activities, which have made it easy to meet people and feel part of the community. When looking for somewhere when our parents were downsizing we went to several independent living facilities. Some were outdated, smelled funny or didn't have a lot of amenities. Our parents have lived in Brockport for 47 years and when we toured The Chateau at Heritage Square everyone was warm and friendly, the common areas were meticulous, the elevators are clean and they have a restaurant on the main floor, a salon on the lower level along with an exercise room. PositiveStaff is wonderful
I don't believe that these apartments are just for over 55 any longer. I would recommend them to others, as long as the person can live on their own. There are no meals provided. There's no restaurant on the property and also no transportation. So, if the person is unable to drive, they will need to get their own transportation to the grocery store, doctors etc. The halls and public restroom are kept very clean.
