Crescent Fields at Huntingdon Valley

I was impressed by the looks of the facility and the level of care they purport to give. There seems to be a lot of activities and areas to socialize.

Beautiful & Safe Place to Live!

The facility is very nice and clean. They did have a lot of activities for the residents but mainly geared to women, ie. Crafts and flower stuff etc. My brother didn't really have an interest in those activities. They did go all out for holidays though and I loved that. The staff were very nice but not very responsive to resident call buttons. They seemed to take way too long to respond. The food was good and plentiful. Review for Crescent Fields at Huntingdon Valley

Food service was very slow, but has improved. There are no medical services for Independent Living residents. The staff is friendly. My apartment size is large and comfortable.

I was not overly impressed with the facilities. The food was good, but some amenities were poor. Also, most of the people I saw were in wheelchairs or on walkers. The most important thing was , if you run out of money, they throw you out!!!!

Beautiful on the outside but the inside needs improvement

They just hired a new director and chef. They need time to make things better at this facility. I would not send my family members here with all of the staff changes happening.

Staffing challenges

The facility seems to be undergoing some turnover and my mother is complaining about the food and shortage of nurses/nurses aides. Hoping this is short lived.
