Proceed with caution

This is a beautiful and cozy facility. There are workers who try their best, truly care about the residents and have good intentions. Unfortunately, they are up against the absolute worst, unsupportive and simply lazy management. I don’t know that all staff are appropriately trained to care for elderly and those with dementia. During my many visits to see my loved one, the manager and nurse worked on site limited hours and weren’t responsive or available by phone or email. I witnessed terrible blatant mishandling …

While some of the staff were wonderful, a person in management screamed (rage filled scream) at my mother who has Alzheimer's in my presence. She had no idea why she was screamed at. Broke my heart. What does this woman do when we are not there? Afraid to complain, afraid of retaliation against my mom. Do not recommend as long as this person working there.

We toured this community when we were looking into care options for a loved one. This seemed like a very nice place, and it was on our list of places we were considering! The facility itself was well kept and clean, and the staff all seemed very friendly. Definitely worth a look!
