PositiveTalked with [name removed] ; she answered all my questions. It was very clean, and spacious; the residents seemed comfortable and relaxed; the environment seemed safe and secure; the resident will transition to memory care as needed but that area didn't seem as spacious It was very far from Las Cruces business district

PositiveUnfortunately they just don't have enough staff. The little details of patient care were not attended to. Some care staff were more mindful of the details than others. The food was mediocre. The rooms were clean and spacious. The activities were varied and frequent- this was the best part of Desert Peaks.
Response from the communityThank you for your honest feedback. We’re glad to hear you enjoyed the activities and found the rooms clean and spacious. We take your concerns about staffing and care quality seriously. Your input helps us do better, and we truly appreciate you taking the time to share your experience.

PositiveThe staff is good, but there is a bit of a lack of communication. Security is good for keeping patients safe and not roaming around outside. The move in process was easy, and the facility was clean. I would recommend this facility to others.
Response from the communityWe appreciate you taking the time to rate and review Desert Peaks. It's valuable to hear that the move-in process was smooth and the facility maintained a clean environment. Your recommendation is noted and greatly appreciated!
