★★★★★
PositiveI would give Devonhouse 3 or 4 depending on specific dynamics. The nursing team are not responsive when I call and leave messages. My aunt is doing ok which is good. To help residents with cognitive health issues, Devonhouse provides a lot of memory care activities for the residents such as games, exercise, live music, etc. -
★★★★★
PositiveThe communication was timely although some confusion at times. Activities seem to be offered frequently. They offer picnic lunches out on patio every Wednesday weather permitting. Residents can have bird feeders outside their rooms and staff will take care of them. Meal times are a bit rigid.
★★★★★
PositiveIt takes a few weeks to get a schedule worked out for showers and meal times. You or the resident need to ask questions or state their needs. There seems to be plenty of activities to stay busy.
★★★★★
PositiveConstantly short staffed, Nurses and Aids. The food service all though is good overall however they run out of things and do not account for residence wanting more.
★★★★★
CriticalMy mom was not well cared for there. I often found her in very poor condition and she had bed sores. The administration was not great but there were some good staff and aids. Bathroom was not handicapped accessible. I asked them to move her to another room but they never responded to my request. I rarely got solutions to my requests and they were not good about responding to emails. Memory care is integrated into the gen pop and people would wander into my moms room and my concerns were brushed off.
★★★★★
PositiveThey are corporate owned, so sometimes they make promises they can't keep right away, however the staff does genuinely care about the residents and take very good care of them
