PositiveOverall, apartment and closet space is huge. Very generous. Overall design and cleanliness is great, activities are varied and multiple options daily. The food is also above average and flexible, generous schedule. Staff is helpful and kind.

PositiveIt was a 5. We all wished it could have been much much longer. [name removed] passed away one year ago today. His time at Evans Park was way too short. He blended right in. I'd get there every day and he be chatting away with other residents like it was meant to be. CriticalThere were some nurses that were wonderful, but some of the aides could have been nicer, more prompt, and more caring. Once they kept my dad waiting 2 hours to have his diaper changed and to get pain medicine. We found out on a Wednesday that my dad was going to be moved to a hospice house. When they moved him the next day, administration called me to tell me that we were supposed to give 30 days notice! They cared more about getting their money than the fact that my dad was dying!

PositiveI was there visiting the site. I was greeted warmly by the staff. Tried their breakfast, 5 stars. I see senior couples managing well. Definite plus! Thinking of viewing this site with several seniors for placement.

PositiveIt's a fortune but nothing to compare it to. Thank god for long term care. Notes: food really is awful Staff: too much mgmt turnover. Most are very pleasant, dedicated and helpful. Right now there is one nasty receptionist who doesn't represent the residence well. Resident: mom is way above most people's cognitive level. It's hard for her.
