Not What You’d Expect from a High-Cost Facility

My mother-in-law is currently at Fellowship Manor for rehab and physical therapy - not a full-time resident. We are knew to this experience, and as such, our expectations were high for the type of care she would receive. Let me start with the positive: The staff members (nurses, speech therapist, activities person, etc.)—have been kind, attentive, and genuinely caring. The meals and dining was very good when our loved one first moved in, but they have gone through some staffing changes in the kitchen so sometimes the meals are a hit or miss. We like that our loved one is participating in the activities and socializing with the other residents - they play different board games, bingo, arts and crafts and they have movie nights. Fellowship community setting the bar really high

They have tons of activities provided - there are things going on all the time. Compared to others places we have had experience with we feel the value here is excellent. Everybody is helpful. Friendly caring staff

Coming from our loved one she does say the people who are taking care of her are very likeable and that they do work very hard and are very caring. All of the staff and residents are very kind and considerate towards to which has been a positive experience. However at times she does say there is just not enough staff around which has been a little bit of a struggle occasionally.
