My friend had a stroke and needed a place that could help provide him with the care he needed. It was hard to find a place that would accept him because of his weight. Gentle Hands took him in, and I have but high praise for [name removed] and the work she does there. For two years, my friend lived there; she impressed me with her caring devotion. She did her best to provide my friend with the attention he deserved. I would highly recommend it to anyone looking for an assisted home for a loved one. She’s a saint.

Would recommend, overall a nice community, friendly and caring staff

The reason we gave the activities 2 stars is because there were no activities except watching TV. They were not acquainted with vegetarian meals. The owner and her son are the only ones at the house. With everything they have to do maybe not time to plan activities or maybe not necessary with the type of clients they have. They really tried with the vegetarian meals. I think it was a learning curve. Based on the experience we have had so far, we would recommend Gentle Hands to other families.
