At Hansen House, we offer top-notch assisted living and memory care services. Our charming, craftsman style buildings at our Council Bluffs location lie at the edge of a peaceful, residential neighborhood just off the banks of the Missouri River. In our pet-friendly, 35-unit facility, strong friendships between residents and with staff members are the cornerstone of our community. This smaller, more intimate environment allows our staff to provide the highest level of personalized care for every resident. Community Amenities and Services You can rest assured your loved one is in the most capable hands, as our professional medical staff is available around the clock. We can provide a wide array of care services, including medication management, incontinence care, and more. Our staff also receives specialized memory care training to give residents with forms of memory loss the best care possible. Homemade meals are served in our dining room and transportation is complimentary, so your loved one can enjoy our community to the fullest. Come tour our updated interiors to discover our cozy bedrooms and inviting indoor and outdoor common spaces, where longtime friendships are built. For the best quality of life, we like to keep our social calendars chock-full of fun activities like tabletop showdowns, art projects, and group exercises. Living Arrangements We offer different floor plans in studio and one-bedroom apartments. Each unit is private with its own bathroom and shower. For residents who need a bit more space, our larger units can come equipped with walk-in closets, living rooms, and kitchenettes. Care Types Offered Hansen House operates an assisted living program , which in the state of Iowa is a certified program that provides housing with services for three or more tenants in a homelike environment. Services may include, but are not limited to, health-related care, personal care, and assistance with activities of daily living. The program may also be designated as “Dementia-Specific,” if the facility houses 5 or more tenants with dementia.
