At The Cove, we create meaningful connections with each resident, and provide them with activities that encourage cognitive stimulation and interaction. Our professional associates provide regular housekeeping, laundry, and maintenance services to keep your living space in great condition. Delectable, well-balanced meals are prepared daily by our professional chef and are served in our bistro-style dining room. Residents can choose between a private studio, private one-bedroom, or companion suite. Care Types Offered HarborChase of Southlake is a Type B assisted living facility . In the state of Texas, these terms are defined as follows: Assisted Living Facility A facility that provides personal care services and administration of medication to 4 or more residents. Assisted living facilities can accept residents with dementia and/or Alzheimer’s. There are 3 types of assisted living facilities: Type A: A facility that may provide room and board to residents who are physically and mentally capable of evacuating the facility unassisted. Type B: A facility that may provide room and board to residents who need assistance evacuating, are incapable of following directions under emergency conditions, require staff attendance during nighttime sleeping hours, and require assistance transferring to and from a wheelchair. Type C (Adult Foster Care): Four-bed facilities that meet the minimum standards and rules for enrollment in the Department of Aging and Disability Services’ Adult Foster Care home program. The facility provides supervision and personal care services to residents.
