PositiveLove Harbour village for mom!
In general, Harbour village is great from my perspective . The staff is wonderful to my mom, and I love that dinners are included and the continental breakfast. Mom does as many activities as she is able and is taking advantage of PT. Love that pets are allowed. She has a cat for some companionship. Love that apartments are painted and carpeted with each resident exchange. The building itself is not built for older adults. It’s all a show. Based off the last two weekends I experience it’s all a show. You can tell the staff and nursing are all running around on low fumes. For the cost. If you ask me. Not worth dealing with burn out staff who don’t want nothing to do with you. Higher management should get on the floor and help their staff with medication errors and lack of administration. We have only been here in Independent Living for a week. Everything we were told about Harbour Village was spot on. All staff members have been helpful, knowledgeable, courteous and friendly. The food has been very good (despite the fact that the Dining Hall has been under repairs). The activities have been fun (and in some cases challenging). I have never seen anything like this. Everything is great including the food, the only downside is I get too much food. Everything is taken care of for the price. I tell my friends you cannot find another Place as nice as Harbour Village.
