CriticalResidents very friendly and staff that I have encountered or asked for help or information. Power off last night, no generator or way to get info and food plus service could use attention. Please remember we have only been here 2 weeks and I have been mostly dealing with unpacking. Maybe my expectations are not reasonable- don't know yet. Only one staff member has been less friendly and I did ask about it- explained as different personality. Have also been dealing with health insurance changes. Lots going on!

CriticalDuring the ice storm in [date removed] not only did Harmony at Bellevue’s (Harmony Senior Services) generator only heat 3 common areas of the 1st floor of this 3-story 180-unit facility when temps dropped to -0.6°F to 2.1°F, they were also misleading in their emails to loved ones about the situation. They did not tell us that residents were having to sleep in chairs & their wheelchairs in those 3 common areas for warmth, or that the emergency outlets were not working consistently, or that they had a staff member gu…
Response from the communityThank you for taking the time to share your concerns. We are truly sorry for the stress and worry the severe ice storm caused for you and your family. When this storm started, Mayor Freddie O’Connell immediately declared a State of Emergency for Metro Nashville–Davidson County because of the caused widespread property damage, hazardous conditions, and power outages across Nashville and surrounding areas. Throughout the storm, our team worked closely with local emergency management professionals and followed all state guidelines for emergency operations. We are grateful that our efforts and support from those agencies for the way our staff responded under exceptionally challenging conditions. Despite the unprecedented strain on infrastructure across the Nashville area, it was best for our residents to shelter in place for everyone’s safety. Our priority remained the same: keeping every resident warm, well-fed, and safe. Our staff worked around the clock to support residents, maintain comfort in the designated heated areas, and ensure that their needs were continuously met until power was restored. We appreciate sharing your perspective. If you’d like to speak with us directly so we can address any additional concerns or provide more details about the actions taken during the storm, we will welcome that conversation at any time.

PositiveWe feel our loved one has received excellent care at Harmony at Bellevue. The vast majority of the staff is very attentive, caring, and helpful. Other residents, for the most part, seem to be happy and engaging. There are plenty of varied activities to participate in with other residents. The food is not exceptional but is very good. Service can be slow but in this environment, that's not a huge issue. Attention to maintenance requests has also been slow so far. But overall, we are very pleased with Harmony at Bell…
