CriticalSEVEN MONTHS OF A TERRIBLE EXPERIENCE
This facility is attractive and the majority of the aides seem to care about the residents depending on their needs. If you need level 5 care which is very expensive, you will not get it here. Many times the aides act like you are bothering them. The executive director and director of nursing services are not transparent and don't share medical decisions, especially medication changes made by outside nurse practitioners. CriticalThe people who work at Home Place are beyond unprofessional, immoral and downright dangerous.
The experiences that my mother encountered at Home Place are beyond unconscionable. The Director and primarily the Director of Nursing are outright liars and just awful people. They treated my father, who visited my mother everyday, absolutely abusively. They also mismanaged her medicine which caused her to be hospitalized for overdoses more than once. She is incontinent and was not changed nearly often enough. The aides were very rude and acted very put out that they had to actually work. There were also three inc…

PositiveEveryone is so good and helpful!!!!
It is a wonderful place, clean and orderly!! They keep the people involved with activities!! It is just a great place!!! It gives peace of mind to know Mama is being taken care of 24/7. All the workers are so nice and helpful to the residents. My Mom is on the Memory Care unit and the residents there need extra care at times and that is what they get , personal one on one care.

We came in 2017 from NY & FL. Apartments are mostly efficient. Overall cleanliness is probable average. There is not enough staff to keep everything pristine. Housekeeping is variable dependent on your housekeeper. The staff is friendly. Maintainence is difficult with 2 people for two buildings with about 90 apartments. Dining is extremely variable. When the food, preperation, service, etc gets poor, an improvement comes, and our hopes rise. But only temporarily. The dining servers are friendly, but rushed. Dining …
