I performed music for free at Statesville, NC Jurney's for about 2 years. There are some good people on staff and some I wouldn't let be around my loved one. Put a camera in your Mom's room if you choose to put her there. Do the paper work and install it especially if they're in memory care. Jurney's is way better than the previous place! It's a little bit more expensive, but the "people factor" makes it worth it! [Name Removed]/Administrator is much more people-focused, not business-focused, toward clients. It makes all the difference! Also, the Med Techs are there because it's their calling, not just a job. My brother was there for a total of 5 days. Spent the w/e before moving him from Concord installing shelves in fact the then director loved the idea, to keep the floors uncluttered...but My brother fell, broke his hip & had hip replacement. left numerous texts & calls, none returned, next thing I knew the director was gone. Based on [name removed] statement, she advised me [name removed] ( daughter from Florida) that she was treated well. She was treated with respect. She liked the food. The staff are amazing. Very Clean and Very Friendly and Helpful Staff

My family and loved one had a great experience with Jurney's of Statesville. The community has been clean when we visit our loved one. All the staff are very friendly, helpful, and caring. There are meals and activities to assist with resident socialization. Overall, this is a community we would recommend to others for their loved ones. Now the food is served cold a lot of the time.. I believe that's the only drawback to Jurneys..
