Lakewood Estates has everything that an independent senior could ever need. Meals, laundry, house cleaning and so many activities. There are shuttles to get out and about town. There are so many active seniors in this facility! It's an older facility but it's kept clean.

Lakewood Estates is a hidden charmer. The staff is impeccable and very helpful -- particularly, [name removed]. She did a quick Q&A to assess what we needed for my father and we agree that it was a great fit. Then, the tour began. The actual premises and services are perfect for a retired veteran. I am convinced we found a place that will make my father happy.

Overall the facility was pleasant. The lady who gave the tour was informative and helpful. It’s definitely a contender in our process of looking at independent and assisted living options. We were looking for a studio and it seemed they were farther away from communal areas and elevator. But overall it was good!

I've only been at Lakewood Estates (LE) for a few months so my experience here is limited. Prior to selecting LE, I visited several "Over 55 Independent Living " apartments, without reservation, LE is the most welcoming, comfortable, clean, affordable, apartments that I've visited. Their Activities Specialist is amazing, she arranges for activities and events that are appropriate, unique, and therapeutic based on what residents ask for. Would recommend if they didn't serve meals so early

I would tell anyone looking that meal times are very early. I'm trying to adjust now but it's difficult for me.
