We are happy we found such a small and nice community for my Auntie. At first, we didn't know how it was going to go for her at Longwood. But the place is clean and the staff is nice. We love that they have a small amount of people at the facility, I've only seen about fifteen to twenty people there. My Auntie has settled in and she loves it there. I've seen an improvement in her health both physical and mentally. There's a couple of things I would address but this is not the forum. I like the place and I'm thankfu…

Clinical and administrative staff would benefit from dementia disease process training and how to compassionately care for residents with dementia. Also, all staff would benefit from training on all signs and symptoms of a possible urinary track infection in the elderly. So that they may be proactive with timely treatment for such.

Longwood Plantation took excellent care of my father. They kept us informed and I couldn't have asked for better support. It was a difficult move for my father while I live out of state but they went out of their way to ensure a smooth transition. I would highly recommend them.
