Pros: Beautiful modern apartments, great views, beautiful grounds, access to Cass Lake, pontoon rides, activities, shopping trips, monthly themed dinner parties with live entertainment. Some great staff overall. This place is perfect for a person with good mobility looking for assisted living. The person running the monthly parties is wonderful and really puts her heart into it. Review for Magnolia by the Lakes

We've been very pleased with the entire place and the care staff. My mom has been in full care since she moved due to weakness from an illness. They have been very accommodating, caring and thorough. we also appreciate that they let us have cameras in her apartment since she is now a fall risk. From what I understand, not a lot of places allow that. Also, there are constant events, parties and meetups scheduled throughout the week.

Nice Apartments, helpful team

Magnolia by the lakes is a nice little indie and assisted living resort for seniors. The grounds and buildings are well maintained, the staff is kind and knowledgeable. The apartments are very nice and feel like a home. Each unit has a balcony or patio area. They have been welcoming. Had a very pleasant experience moving our family member in.

Home away from home

Magnolia is the place to be. Magnolia's staff makes it feel like a home away from home which is exactly what I was looking for. The care staff and administration are the most attentive and informative people. The amenities are absolutely beautiful and the meals are 5-star. I would recommend this place to everyone.

Assisted living horrible experience.

First off it was well known that my father had dementia and I was assured by Dr. [name removed] that their facility is the best and they could handle him. It was a nightmare and he kept getting out of the "secure" facility and the police were called numerous times and I was getting calls at all hours of the night to come there and handle him. The assisted living staff were constantly on their phones all night, or missing and they did not even speak to the residents unless they were paid extra. My father was shamed …
