CriticalDementia residents are “too hard” for them
We were sold on small staff to resident ratio and continuity of care through end of life. We got the room next to the nurses station specifically because of dementia. 90 days in my 85# 87 y/o mother is now “too hard” for them to consistently keep unsoiled or medicated. I’ve cleaned her and changed her clothes and sheets more than the staff has. We just rebounded from bedsores after left in a soiled diaper. Awful place. If you have any kind of love for your family do not even inquire here. They are always under staffed. They do not even hire the proper staff in the first place. There hasn't been a registered nurse on staff here in over a year!
