I just knew that my almost 92 year old mom would hate being in assisted living and would just give up and die. After Mom fell and broke her femur last May I had no choice because I wasn’t able to manage caring for her myself anymore. Fortunately, the Lord guided us to New Hope Senior Living. I truly thought I found a great place for my father when I placed him there. They swore they could handle him just fine. I had to find out the hard way that they'll tell you anything. The realization of what his final days were like, in this place I trusted his care to, have left me seeking therapy for over a year. I don't think I will ever get over it. We had a wonderful experience with this home. I can't in good conscience call it a facility because it feels like a home. My mother lived there for two months under hospice care. The home is elegant, comfortable, clean, and just all around beautiful. It has a very small resident to staff ratio which helps keep things very personalized. They are amazing. They provide transportation to the doctors appointments within Hendersonville and staying with him to bring him back. This is done for free with their own bus. They offer movies, puzzles, bingo, cooking, making dog biscuits for the local animal shelter, Easter festivities. I cannot say enough about this place. It is only a 14 bed facility.
