PositiveI know the staff is doing the very best they can in a very tough situation. Due to the residents being mentally and or physically incapacitated I know it is a difficult atmosphere to work. I believe they did the very best they could. as to the cost versus value, I think Oxford Springs is very expensive. They have moved to a model of charging rent for the apartment, and then charging an additional amount for a level of care services. When we originally looked at that location it was under Brookdale memory care and t…

PositiveFamilies should read the fine print on what is and isn't the family's responsibility. Mom does love the friends she's made, the food and the overall lifestyle.

CriticalI saw no activities whenever I was there and I only gave them a 3 for meals in assumption that it was just ok because I wasn't there for a meal. The prior staff--several of them--told me the new folks were purposely driving out all of the residents because they wanted to get rid of those who needed memory care.

PositiveIt has been good but moving my mother from an assisted living facility to a memory care facility has its challenges. It seemed to us from our tour and interviews of the staff that it was the best for my mother out of all the memory care facilities we visited. Thankfully it was also the first one that had an opening as we were on a waitlist at 3 different facilities.

PositiveAs a retiree, I have worked and managed in many very different environments. I have never see a staff that is so proactive, works so well together, and has such positive attitudes. The room sizes and amenities offered to residents in memory care seem to be just fine!
