PositiveThe staff is kind, patient and caring...I like the fact that utilities and meals are included with the monthly rent...they have senior night out.. They take them to wal-mart and other places so the residents are able to get the things they need...we have no complaints...

PositiveIt's a wonderful senior living community in advance of needing assisted living. Many activities, on-site and outtings, are available for the residents. My Mom's concern is food preparation, i.e. often salty or spicy. For seniors, there should be more concern with restricted diets.My concern is that a recent weekend late night fire alarm went off. Required an evacuation. However, there is no plan in place for residents that could not walk down the stairs. Fortunately, it was a false alarm.

PositiveEvery time we come to visit our loved one we always see the staff members cleaning and our loved one has been very pleased with all of the staff members she has encountered. The meal choices are really good from what we have seen off the menu but sometimes our loved one is a little concerned with the preparation - but we have not had a meal experience ourselves so we just aren't sure. There is a lot of different activities for the residents there like crafting, exercise classes bingo, and they have a transportation…

CriticalI don't know what happened, but the food has gotten SO BAD that I am now spending a small fortune to have food delivered to my parents... even though meals are included in rent. What they are serving is gross and industrial... like prison food. Things have changed and I'm not sure why. Seems like profit has become more important than the mission of providing for seniors. My parents have been happy living here and I'm sad we now have to look for other options. Seniors need proper nutrition but they aren't getting it…

PositivePalmetto Park is certainly a beautiful place to retire, it has met every single one of my expectations. Within the first week of being here all of the staff members new my name - they are very welcoming and family orientated. Initially the food overall is great and the cooking is great - the change up the meals regularly so nothing is repetitive. When we do have to shutdown due to covid they will deliver all 3 meals to us 7days a week. They call us on a regular basis to keep us updated with the covid regulations. W…
