My Family's Experience (would recommend)

The overall experience is good. There have been a few challenges staffing wise with the front desk staff being unorganized. The room size is spacious. The facility is clean.

A caring place

I have been quite pleased with the experience I've had thus far. The staff have been very helpful, friendly and caring each time I've dropped in to see my mom.

Caregivers Great, Facility Services Poor

As a resident I needed caregivers assistance in the beginning, fortunately it’s no longer required. The facility lacks good services not related to care. There’s no water at all today, noticed at 9:40. No advance notice given so no idea how long it will be off. There was no hot water from 8/30-9/17 & 11/20 for half a day. Also my bedroom ceiling fan lost blades for 6 months until down to 1 before it was replaced. The one telephone line isn’t answered consistently. My biggest problems are tv errors and loss of half…

Azalea Gardens is a beautiful community. Meeting with [name removed] was a wonderful experience. It has not been an easy process looking for placement for mother. [name removed] was patient, knowledgeable, and provided me with a wealth of information and resources. I recommend this community to anyone who is looking for friendly service, a courteous director, and clean environment. The caregivers are warm and helpful. A lovely place for aging adults.

Family Experience

Administrative staff 1 they charge her a lay fee and some type of credit card fee. When they had permission to withdraw the funds from her account but still charged. Her and never refunded the money. They? Take the money out super late in the month and then charge a late fee. She doesn't eat their food. She doesn't participate. Value for the money: kind of expensive

Been a very positive relocation

We have never had any experience with personal care homes and we were getting quite concerned with where or if we were going to find a suitable place for my wife’s sister. Most of the places seemed to have an add on charge for everything and given her budget would have made it near impossible to make sure we could cover the cost each month.
