Overall would recommend

Facility arrangement and appearance is great. Courtyard is maintained well. Food is well balanced. However, it is sometimes cool. Some aides nature could improve. The couches could be upgraded to provide higher Seating height. Drainage in the courtyard needs additional drains at low spots along walkways. The blinds at the TV area need repair or replacement. Regular teaspoons, not soup or tablespoons should be used with served meals . Meats should be cut to biting size if knives are not to be provided the res…

Nice community with room for improvement

Our loved one is no longer at Parkway Village, but the improvement that was needed is employees who care! Unfortunately, I'm being told that is the problem at most if not all places. People don't want to work and therefore they can't find good people to hire! They tried.

What our family likes the most about the Parkway Village community is that it has a sense of family and the staff members are very helpful. Based on the experience so far, we would recommend this community to other families who are looking for a place for their loved ones.

My experience of the care that my wife has received by Parkway Village and staff has been excellent and of the highest quality. It is obvious from the three months she has been a patient that everyone working there is thinking first of what is best for the resident and how they can make their life better and more meaningful. This starts with the administrator, [name removed]. She personally is concerned with each patient's individual problems and needs. She is hands on and her staff respects her and her leadership.…

Community Care

I would give it all 5 stars but the activities. The problem with our situation is that my brother is 64 and all other residents are much older so he isn't interested in the activities geared to the older people. The main reason why Parkway works for us is because it is a locked facility.

It was more expensive but stunningly beautiful. They were super nice. They had independent houses with small yards. It was newer.
