The food is great. I feel like they are understaffed for level 2 care. The staff is good overall, but it can be hard to find someone to communicate issues to. The DON is good about addressing everything. The room size is good. The activities schedule looks great, but residents are not always able to attend because staff cannot always take them down. It seems to be geared more toward independent living. Cleaning in the rooms is only weekly, and I think they should at least check more often to see if things need to…

Pleasantly surprised

The staff are super friendly. Lots of activities and residents seem happy. Also had a bottom floor opened with patio for her dog.

Our experience

First, and the thing that sold us on the place when we toured was that all of your residents appeared happy and comfortable there. The multiple dining options The activity schedule And everyone we've met on staff have been consistently nice and always positive. I would and already have recommend Woodland Heights community to other families.

Clear as Heaven

Woodland Heights is a very nice place to live. Management and employees are nice and friendly. [name removed] is an excellent executive Director. Whenever I have a problem, or issue, she is always there to solve it. She is very smart and tactful. [name removed] is our activities Director. She is an excellent planner. Her personality is unremarkable. She is nice and helpful. The food here is outstanding. [name removed] manages the kitchen very well. The food is always hot and delicious. The rooms here are very nice.…

With the new upper management hopefully things will improve!

I was not at all pleased with the facility. They have had a change in staffing and things might be better now. With the new upper management hopefully things will improve!

Friendly staff

I haven't eaten there but there is always a nice variety. The value for cost seems good, but I have nothing to compare to. I liked the two big windows in his room and that there were other windows that looked out to more than just a small court yard. My husband loved the outdoors- looking at birds, trees , the sky. When I visit we will move chairs over to the windows even in the commons room.
