The elevator was out of order for over three weeks, leaving anyone unable to climb stairs trapped on upper floors. No compensation was offered for the inconvenience. We were told during our initial meeting that the elevator would be out for about a month while it was being refitted. Food quality has not improved since my last review, and housekeeping is inconsistent and unreliable. Elevator broken again

The ONLY elevator in the building has been broken for 2 weeks!! So if you live on the 2nd or 3rd floor, you're effectively stranded. I can't pick up my relative for lunch or dinner since they are not able to manage stairs. And don't get me started if someone has a medical emergency and they're not on the ground floor!

An example of bad management.

Staff is pretty good, management is awful, unresponsive is typical, no response is the norm. I would not recommend to others. Management has never returned my emails or phone calls. My mother has extremely bad Wi-Fi. No television, no tablet. No FCC phone for the deaf. Nothing works and they don't address it. A seven percent rent increase this year. Parkwood Village and The Landing experience

Administration staff - is a 3 only because they don't seem to be aware of or able to correct housekeeping issues. I also feel administrative staff should have to eat some of the food we're served. Breakfast is a joke-options posted are not served on a daily basis as advertised. It is nice to have someone to socialize with-cards, table games or visiting. On the other hand there are several tenants here with obvious memory issues or dementia that might do better in assistive or memory care settings.

The Landing was welcoming the minute I walked in! The staff were friendly and helpful. I like that nearly everyone I met had worked there for years and many since it was opened. Everything looked clean and well maintained. I enjoyed the charming southern hospitality from everyone I met. It made me feel welcome and cared for. The activity calendar offers a plethora of activities, more than you can do in one day. The numerous activity rooms definitely have their own “personality” and offer a place to be than just y…
