PositiveGood experience
Overall, it was a very good experience. The staff responded quickly whenever I had a question. Very clean. Didn't smell like an assisted living facility, which is important to me. Food was ok. The only negative thing i can say is that they are short-staffed, especially at night and on weekends. I had to move my mother to another facility bc she fell and cracked a vertebra. She needed more help than they could give her.

CriticalThe Legacy at South Plains
They kept our money, but only provided 3 days service for two months pay. They didn't tell me they would not take her back from the hospital until it came time for her to be released, although they had made the decision before they collected the second month's payment! The facility was excellent, except they didn't keep us informed, and they charged us for services not provided!

We paid over $[removed] K, and my sister Stayed there three nights. She was in the hospital the rest of the time. They did not tell us they were not taking her back until I called to see if they were picking her up from the hospital, or I was. They charged the whole amount, because her things were still in her room. The day they inform me she would not be allowed back, I rested the 160 miles to get them out that night!
