About The Cottages at Quail Creek
The Cottages at Quail Creek are newly renovated assisted living residences for people living with Alzheimer's disease and other memory disorders. Under the direction of our highly qualified, 24-hour staff and access to 7 days-a-week nursing, we provide personal care assistance, medications supervision, meals, snacks and specialized activities. Our all-inclusive pricing means no hidden fees and all services and care is included. We specialize in memory care. Our caregivers are specifically trained to provide for those with memory impairments from Alzheimer's disease, Parkinson's, Lewy Body and other dementias. Our unique floor plan inspired by Mayo Clinic research, allows residents to live in a smaller, home-like environment. Individual 'town homes' consisting of 8 residents each have their own family dining room and living areas. Our on-site chef prepares well-balanced meals that are served family-style in each cottage's dining room. This smaller, more intimate setting means we are able to develop personal and deep relationships with our residents. The Cottages have been serving Amarillo since 1998 and is family owned and operated by The Cottages Senior Living. Years of operating memory care residences have provided us with a deep understanding of what is needed for the best level of care for those living with dementia.

I have visited The Cottages multiple times since Mom was placed last year. The facility is clean and well-maintained. They have addressed issues such as men entering Mom's room by having the men moved to the other side of the facility instead in close proximity to female-occupied rooms as it was previously.
