Review for Prospect House

I'm very happy. The only thing is that the staff puts away the wash cloths and hair washing caps (for dementia patients so they don't have to get in the shower). The problem is, she lies! My mom says she was bathed when she wasn't. I am forceful with her and insist I bath her. But when I cannot find the products, I typically do not have the time (or patience frankly) to go back and find them. The wash cloths and shower cap things are specifically made for bed ridden people, and they're much easier to use than get

Our Experience

Staff are nice and very helpful. Food not great flavor wise and health wise. Activities decent. Some poor communication about various matters. Told us recently that PACE rules changed (my mom will qualify in a year) and that we needed [removed]k in a separate bank account with me as PoA. Luckily my mom's have to move. They then said we were out of compliance with opening the account. They never told us in the meeting that it needed to be open now. Things like that have been very stressful.

Terrible Facility

I would not recommend this place to anyone. After much research, my daughters found this facility for my ex-wife who has Alz Dementia. There were nothing but problem from the very beginning. I live with eldest daughter so I experienced all the phone calls first hand it was ridiculous. The facility itself was dirty (they had mice and bugs). The staff was constantly changing. The staff would sleep, eat and chat on the phone in the dining room while on duty. They continually called 911 and sent her to various hospital

Don't bring your loved ones here!

We moved my mom into Generations at Prospect House in [date removed] since then it's been nothing short of living nightmare. I would arrive to find my mom had not been showered and her hair would be so greasy. Her bed would have urine stained sheets. Her laundry would be over flowing. We were getting calls that she was falling every single day (she never fell before she moved to Prospect). They would send her to different hospitals for no reason. She was not given her meds properly. On more than one occasion I foun

The facility lacks a lot, if your looking for memory care help for your loved one, look somewhere else. The only thing an aide can say, "I wasn't here this ( morning , afternoon) No one takes responsibilty. Meds are not given out at the specified times. Place is dirty and dingy.
