Ravenna review

They always seem to be short on staff. If I didn't visit mom every day to oversee her care, I feel she would not be looked after as much as she is. Mom has dementia and wouldn't be able to remember to tell me of any shortcomings in her care.

Adequate assisted living

They seem to be short-staffed. A little bit disorganized. But fortunately, I come and check on my mom daily. So I can advocate for her. I seem to have to do a lot of reminding the staff about caring for mom, toileting every two hours, Using Tab underwear at night, etc. I don't like the fact that they don't have a supervisor med tech. The office manager, [name removed], seems to be the one that family has to relay medical concerns too, and [name removed]then relays it to the staff. I understand no place is perfect.

Safe place for our love ones

The best place for our dad. They were kind and helpful. They treat everyone as family. Showing love and respect. If you needed anything they would do it or let you know what they could do. Always smiling and showing kindness. My dad love everyone there. After looking everywhere, this was the best.

They were very helpful and took good care of my uncle

I would recommend to anyone as he was well taken care of. Did not rate the food because he did not eat he was admitted in the hospice program and was there only a short period of time. The nurses were friendly and knowledgeable

Terrible place

This place is horrible. Please don’t let your love one’s be here. The staff is rude! It smells like pee. They do not take care of your loved ones. The staff doesn’t check in on the people there. The staff let patient’s stay in their beds all day and for weeks without getting them up. When family members ask questions they treat you as your a bother and have no right to ask. No doctor on staff like say. Food is cold and awful. Can’t do repairs In timely fashion. They had no hot water for month!! I have nothing good

Response from the community

This person's review doesn't align with other comments are the many families and residents that are content. The complaints are false. I can only guess it may be an irate employee. We don't keep new hires who turn out not to have the same values that we do and are unable to provide the care standards important to us.

Sad, depressing terrible place!

When we chose Ravenna it was largely due to [name removed] the owner, his attitude & enthusiastic approach for caring for mom. We let him know mom was a picky eater, no problem [name removed] said. The staff will make her something to eat. Mom has an old cat, no problem we love cats. [name removed] said they have a nurse & nurse practitioner on staff, no more visits to the doctors office. I believe mom saw [name removed], nurse 3 times then he was gone, never replaced. Mom never saw the nurse practitioner in the 10
