Review for Sarawood Assisted Living

My mom's doing ok. I'm happy with Sarawood. I feel comfortable with the staff, they call when she's having a problem or just wants to talk to me. She's not getting much exercise but some of that is her lack of initiative. I've had a few lunches there with my mom in a private room. She has a favorite staff member and has been ready with their help for appointments. I think the staff is doing a great job.

It's a small assisted living home that takes care of the residents very well, laundry, assistance showering and many other included assistances. Friendly established staff. Not a lot of turnover.

Terrible facility

This place is horrible in every way imaginable. The building is deteriorating, the roof has a huge leak that’s causing a mold problem and has been neglected for almost a decade. Most of the staff is a joke, except for a CNA or two. The administration is more concerned with not having to work, themselves, that they have employed drug addicts who indulge while on the clock. The “air conditioning amenity” is nothing more than nasty ac’s that are never cleaned, stored in a moldy basement and then set back up each summe…

Not happy

Not happy at all. They charge 3,000 to3,500 a month and they take the residents to Good Will to shop for clothing. The unground pool is not open or maintained and they only have a treadmill for work out equipment. When thinking about The money that these residents are paying each month, they should have so much more!

Was not impressed with their parking lot snow and ice not maintained. Due to the age of this facility , many things need attention. Not a place I would feel good about leaving my mom

Lovely! 28 residents, close to my house. The only problem is they do not assist with getting dressed. Feels very homey.
