Cant afford to have a good crew

My grandmother has been living there for five years now. For the first time in all these years they had a great nurse in place for almost two years and out of nowhere she’s no longer with them. No communication, no notice. She was the first and only in these whole time that would do her job and always follow up on her word. I had a meeting scheduled with her yesterday and did not even get a call from facility. The administrator of the facility doesn’t seem to validate the good workers like they should be validated.…

My father has been living at this Sierra Basin for a while now, and I couldn’t be more grateful for the incredible team caring for him. From day one, the staff has gone above and beyond to ensure he feels safe, respected, and genuinely cared for. The nursing team, especially the nurse that does the first contact, has been outstanding—always responsive, compassionate, and incredibly attentive to his needs. 2 would be my best score. The caregivers are overwhelmed with the staff to patient ratios. If expectations of care are poor or low, this is the perfect place.

The perfect place

I really love both the facility and staff. The facility is always clean, no weird smells. It is also always brightly decorated for events and holidays which provides a happy and positive atmosphere. The staff is fabulous. Always attentive to my stepfather and to me. They are kind and affectionate. I'm so blessed that [name removed] is able to be there.
