★★★★★
PositiveThe staff retention is a major plus. The activities and amenities appear to be top notch. They were very good at answering any questions I had. This is one of my favorite facilities that I’ve toured
★★★★★
PositiveThe fact that I could stay in same space if I need to go into Assisted living - no more moving. Also they don't hassle you to do activities if you don't want to.
★★★★★
PositiveSo far I would recommend it. They do seem to want to add services on after you get there which costs more. What stood out is the 2 bedroom units and the activities for my mother-in-law.
★★★★★
CriticalMy husband likes to kiss people and hit them in the but. We are working on this. The day center he goes to each day handles this fine. Upon my return they told me he could not return. I question how they are going to handle a memory care unit. Others I have talked to understand and tell me this is not unusual. All were nice but...

PositiveBickford is a good community. The food is made daily right there. It's so good that my Aunt refused to let us take her out to eat! She didn't want to miss lunch. They don't have a lot of activities but it is set up so that the residents can walk freely inside. Must have permission to leave, however family is welcome to come and take them out. There's also a court yard and garden spot they can visit on their own. My aunt is glad to be able to come and go outside in that area. The staff is very friendly.
★★★★★
PositiveThe staff was very kind, and caring. The nursing staff was exceptional! The food was good and everybody did a tremendous job making Mom feel welcome
