CriticalGetting pretty expensive. The contract you sign is in their best interest of course. They do have great activities but that is all the bus can be used for they dont do doctor appointments. The pull cords do not go straight to emergency responses. It goes to a desk in the main building which can be a delay. All and all they are a decent place. Just if you are in independent you really better be completely independent.

PositiveWhen I first moved in the maintenance was slow to get things done. But it is much better. Meals have improved. The staff are very helpful and kind. We meet once a month to express any complaints and they try hard to solve them. They also have activities for independent living and assisted living. Location is good. It took me awhile to get used to living in a smaller apartment instead of a house.

CriticalI'm in Independent Living. They have been going through some changes. Sometimes, it seems that every one is not on the same page. When I ask what I consider a General question about Policy or general rules, not one person has the answer. They either don't know the answer at all or are not sure. They say that you/I will need to consult with [name removed]). Then, I ask where/how to locate that person. The answer may be fairly random..... it's not like they have a # phone I can call. Same with contacting Maintenance…

PositiveThe staff is very accommodating to requests and does a good job with individualized care, especially when it comes to getting to know the resident well enough to comfort them in times of unfamiliarity. The staff is also demonstrated extreme patience which is very appreciated.

CriticalOur Aunt had suffered several falls at the facility She finally broke her hip after a fall and passed away. The hospice care she received there was very good. The regular staff seemed patient with her but we felt like it might have been understaffed for the type of patients on her hall. The activities coordinators were very sweet and the kitchen staff were very accommodating.
