My experience with Summit Hills was not just disappointing, it was alarming.

They have a strong sales process. You will walk away thinking your loved one is going to be well cared for and supported. After the move in, that level of attention disappears. From that point on, you are largely on your own. If your loved one is fully independent, this facility may work. If they decline, do not assume the care will adjust to meet that need. In my experience, it did not. Care here is inconsistent and unpredictable. There are a few staff members who clearly care, but others appear disengaged. The …

Not recommended

My loved one was previously a resident at Summit Hills and our experience at this facility was not good. I would rate them at a zero if I could, this facility was terrible. The staff always left my loved one with no food, it was the worst. We ended up moving my loved one to a different facility and he is doing much better there. I would not recommend Summit Hills to others.

Comfortable caring community

Summit Hills has been wonderful! They are a very sweet community and the freedom they give my parents and the assurance of them being well taken care of is priceless. They have welcomed our whole family and the grandkids regularly come and enjoy time with the grands in the dining room and independent living.

A very small feel

I chose Summit Hills because it was a smaller community in size and the staff are very close with the residents. I am in a cottage and the one that I chose is a good size. Overall I am quite happy. My one concern is the activities have been reduced due to covid, so I am looking forward to them going back to all that was provided in pre-covid times. I would recommend Summit Hills to others looking.
